Introducing the platform
On October 8, the Nursing Homes Thailand team met with Mr. Saksakul Supakritanan, the newly appointed Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Pattaya Office, to introduce its online platform, which helps individuals find and match with elderly care facilities based on their specific needs, including care requirements, location, and individual preferences.
The Director’s perspective
During the meeting, the Director expressed interest in the platform’s concept as a new approach to helping seniors and their families access suitable elderly care facilities more conveniently. This is particularly relevant to foreign nationals who are interested in living and retiring in Thailand and are increasingly seeking quality elderly care services tailored to their individual needs.
An opportunity for international retirees
The meeting also highlighted Thailand’s potential to further develop services for international retirees. Beyond improving access to elderly care, this opportunity could contribute to the Thai economy through long-term spending on accommodation, healthcare, and related services.
